Explanatory factsheet for MoU on responsible soy

The partners of the Memorandum of Understanding on responsible soy (ABIOVE, APROSOJA, FEFAC, FEDIOL & IDH) have made a factsheet available to provide more insights to interested stakeholders into the cooperation agreement and working plan signed on 19 January 2017.

The factsheet ((17) PR 4) for the main part contains the activities the MoU partners commit to (as listed in the agreement), with additional explanations around the Soja Plus programme and the FEFAC Soy Sourcing Guidelines. The MoU partners also highlight the importance of the agreement in the light of the stimulation of production and trade of responsible soy, with an aim to tackle illegal deforestation.
