The Annual Report 2016-2017 provides an overview of FEFAC action and positioning on the most pertinent topics relevant to the European feed industry in the last year. This includes the role of animal nutrition in the fight against antimicrobial resistance, the launch of a feed safety benchmarking project, the circular economy function of the feed industry to reduce food waste and the progress of the FEFAC Soy Sourcing Guidelines to eliminate illegal deforestation from the soy supply chain.
